Backup Your Life

Create a permanent backup of your memories and analog photos! As we get older, it only gets harder and harder to remember the precious moments in life – unless you capture them in CueBack.

Pass It Down

Don’t you wish you could hear your parents’ and grandparents’ voices again? The funny stories they told? Their pearls of wisdom? Your children and grandchildren will want to remember your voice too.

Fully Remember

Your memories are a critical part of you – lose them, and you lose a piece of ‘you’. Capture the full story by collaborating with family and friends to fill in gaps and add their perspectives.

Share Your Life

Remember the last time you reunited with close friends and reminisced about old times? When you can’t be together, share, relive, and laugh on CueBack.

"Nostalgia helps bring your psychological state back into balance. It elevates your mood and your deflated self-esteem...You come out of the experience with a stronger sense of belonging."
Clay Routledge, North Dakota State University
"Group-based reminiscence therapy, was reported as successful in reducing both social isolation and depression."
Franck L, Molyneaux N, & Parkinson L, Quality of Life Research
“Nostalgia has been shown to counteract loneliness, boredom and anxiety. It makes people more generous to strangers and more tolerant of outsiders. Couples feel closer and look happier when they’re sharing nostalgic memories. On cold days, or in cold rooms, people use nostalgia to literally feel warmer.”
Dr. Tim Wildschut, University of Southampton (Social and Personality Psychology)
“The more children know about their family background the more well-adjusted they are, the better they do in school, and the more resilient they are."
Marshal P. Duke, Emory University
“Older people have different needs. They value emotional goals over other goals… And, older adults use positive memories to help regulate their emotional state.”
Mather (University of Southern California) and Carstensen (Stanford)
“The ability to recall and reflect helps older adults remember who they used to be in order to help them define their identity in the current moment. The stories of the past provide a source of affirmation, hope, and belief that their legacy will be preserved.”
Andrea Bjornestad, South Dakota State University (Mental Health Specialist)
“Nostalgia helps bring your psychological state back into balance. It elevates your mood and...you come out of the experience with a stronger sense of belonging.”
Matt Stevens, The New York Times
“It turns out that forgetting can help us gain expertise, and when we relearn something we couldn’t recall, we often develop a richer form of understanding. Forgetting is a matter of ‘retrieval failure.’ To remember something important, you have to keep experiencing it.”
Prof. Robert A. Bjork, UCLA (Cognitive Psychology)

Quick FAQs

Why is it worth recording our memories?

Our lives are shaped by the memories of time shared with family and friends. These precious memories are worth collecting for the benefit of ourselves, family and friends. As we age, we are all vulnerable to losing precious memories. Keep those memories safe by moving them from the hard drive between your ears to the Cloud.

How is CueBack different from Facebook and other platforms?

People’s feeds are cluttered with ads, trivial latte art posts, AI pushed news, memes, and posts from people we barely know. CueBack is different. We focus on helping people preserve and share their important stories and memories with family and close friends. No ads, no news. CueBack is designed by Baby Boomers for Baby Boomers, not by Millennials for Millennials.

How do I know I won't lose my memories?

We know and understand that your memories and stories are priceless. We want to make sure you never lose them. CueBack runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) which is the most reliable and widely-used web services platform on the planet. We use AWS to maintain comprehensive backups of all memories, comments, photos, and other content you may create or upload just in case something goes awry.

How do I know my memories will only be shared with the people I want?

Your memories will only be viewable by those specific CueBack members to whom you have expressly given individual viewing permission. Even better, this high degree of sharing control can be set on a memory by memory basis. You can also custom create your own private circles of family and friends. All memories are encrypted so that not even CueBack employees can view them. We’re very proud of our privacy settings. They’re the strongest and most comprehensive you’ll find. In fact, it’s one of our most important and defining features.

Can I download all of my memories?

Yes you can. We understand that you’ve spent a lot of time recollecting and recording your memories. You may also have had family and friends spend time contributing and collaborating to complete your stories and recollections. To protect all that heartfelt effort, we ensure that you have the ability to access and download your memories at any time.
